Watch and Bag- Michael Kors

Hello Lovelies!
Today's outfit is a really casual outfit that I have worn a lot lately! I wouldn't generally say I'm a baggy t-shirt/trainers kinda girl, but this t-shirt has changed my outlook haha. Don't get me wrong, I still love to glam up but when I brought this t-shirt I loved how easy it was to throw it on and look casual but still quite stylish.

I've teamed it here with my trusty black Joni jeans and a pair of croc print plimsolls (which don't often get an outing if I'm honest) and my all time favourite accessories: Michael Kors and a red lip.

Also something major happened the other day (if you haven't already noticed).. I cut my hair! This is a very major thing for me as I haven't had it this short since I was about 15 haha. So its taking me some time to get used to it. Let me know what you think :)

Hope you like this casual look. Lots of Love,

Elegant Touch Review.

Hello Lovelies! Today's post is a beauty post on one of my new favourite brands- Elegant Touch. This is a brand I'd seen a few times but never tried until this Christmas. Now I know what you're thinking.. here's some more fake nails that will ping off the minute I move. If I'm honest I thought the same, as every brand of false nails I'd tried before lasted a day if that. But these honestly last for ages!

When I was Christmas shopping in December a girl who served me had the Christmas nails on. She raved about them and said they last for over a week and don't chip. So I popped them on my Christmas list. And these are the nails I got (I also got the Christmas ones).

I can definitely say that these are the best false nails I've tried. The blue ones (here) are my favourite and I got so many compliments on these from people who thought they were acrylics. I put the blue ones on, on NYE and they stayed on until like the 14th with me only needing to re-glue 1 in that time. I've now got the shiny long grey ones on and they are holding up well too.

My only criticism is that the grey mattes lost their matte-ness over time and looked a bit tatty, but the shiny ones are defo a winner! Also I'd advise buying the glue separately as that is meant to hold the nails on longer than the adhesive tabs.

So girlies, when you've next got a special occasion or just fancy some pretty nails, I'd definitely recommend Elegant Touch. To check out their site click here

Monochrome Love.

Saturday 10 January 2015

Shirt: River Island
Jeans: River Island
Shoes: Next (sold out). Alternative here
Bag: New look.. Similar here

Hello my dears! Hope you are all well! Today's post shows my true love.. monochrome! As much as I love colours, I just tend to be drawn to whites/blacks/greys when shopping as I think these colours are really versatile and chic at the same time!

I went shopping yesterday and had a River Island voucher so hit that up first. Now I must say that River Island is killing it at the moment! I literally could have spent hundreds of pounds, however I managed to cut it down to this shirt and a casj grey t-shirt (with some difficulty). I knew I had to have this shirt the minute I walked into the shop! If I could pick one item of clothing to describe my style it would be a shirt like this; I just love how a shirt can be really girly and pretty but also brings a bit of masculine chic into the equation with the collar!

I've paired this with some leather-look jeans which are also from River Island and my fav snakeskin pumps!  A berry lip and bag and I was good to go!

So I hope you like this look! Let me know your fav colours for winter and which item of clothing describes you best! Lots of love,

Camel lovin'

Camel Coat: Topshop
Dress: Glamorous
Boots: Kurt Geiger

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. So life is getting back to normal after the excitement of Christmas and New year. Today we took our Christmas decs down which made me really sad as I am a big Christmas lover, but hey it can't be Christmas every day *sob*.

It was ridiculously foggy today but I decided I'd take some photos anyway and hope for the best. The lighting isn't amazing and I do look slightly ghostly but hey ho haha. This outfit is what I wore on Christmas day and it features some of my fav Christmas presents! I have wanted a camel coat for a long time so when I unwrapped this beaut I was very happy! It goes with everything! Also another present which I fell in love with is these super edgy Kurt Geiger boots which havent't left my feet since Christmas day!

I got this dress on Christmas eve. Every year my whole family go shopping in Colchester on Christmas Eve and my dad buys me something to wear for Christmas day. I just love the Christmassy colours and the fit meant it hid my food baby after my Christmas dinner haha. This dress is by a brand called 'Glamorous' which I'd never heard of until I saw this dress. However I've had a look at their website and they have some really lovely dresses for day and night so I'd definitely advise a little look!

Let me know what you think of this outfit and what you wore on Christmas day; whether it was a snuggly onezie or a super glitzy dress!
Lots of Love,

It's a new year..

Thursday 1 January 2015

Hello lovelies! Happy New Year!! I just wanted to do a little post about my plans for the upcoming year and to reflect on the year that's past. Last year I learnt a lot; mainly about myself. I don't want to get all serious so I will bypass the nitty gritty, but I will say, that I have learnt over the last year that the only person who can make you truly happy is yourself!

The last few years I have given a new year little thought, however this year I have found it exciting that a brand new year is starting which brings all new opportunities and possibilities. This year I have many aspirations and I have decided to write some objective for the next year, which I will aim to achieve throughout the year. I also am super excited because I've decided to make a scrapbook of my whole year starting today! I can't wait to watch it develop and to have the final product this time next year!

Blogging started for me last year and I have loved it so far, and also loved reading other blogs and finding new bloggers. This year I am going to try to improve my blog and aim to blog more frequently! I also am thinking about starting a Youtube channel this year too; I loooove watching videos of makeup tutorials and lookbooks and would love to try it out myself!

I hope you are all excited for the new year! As always I'm sure there will be ups and downs but I hope the goods are amazing and the bads only temporary!

Lots of Love,
Jade xxx
