Hello my lovelies! I'm soo sorry I haven't blogged in so long :( I've been sooo busy! it was MY BIRTHDAY (yayyy) the other day and that has kept me very busy! Also I've just started my 3rd year of uni and my dissertation has already taken over my life! *sob*.

So, today was absolutely freezing and pouring with rain! Luckily the sun came out this afternoon though and I jumped at the chance to take these photos! I'm not very good with the cold, I tend to want to hibernate haha. However today I did see the silver lining as I was able to wear this beaut scarf. I picked this scarf up when I was in London for my birthday. It is literally sooo soft and warm!

I also decided to wear these winter shorts (well that's what I'd call them) as I think they are super edgy and jazz up this outfit! I must say though.. my legs didn't appreciate this as they were very cold! I also wore a cropped grey jumper, which again I picked up in London. I like that its a bit cropped because I'm a high waisted girl when it comes to shorts and trousers and long jumpers look a bit odd tucked in.

Almost forgot to mention the accessories.. I am IN LOVE with my new Michael kors bag and watch which I was so kindly brought for my birthday by my parents and brother! I was defo spoilt!

Hope you like this wintery look. How do you all dress for the more chilly days?
Let me know :)
Lots and lots of love,

I love you Primark.

Tuesday, 15 July 2014
Hello lovelies! This post is dedicated to my love for Primark! This outfit is pretty much all Primark (barring the crop and jellies). I just can't get enough of it at the moment.

(Sorry about this cheesy photo. I was having fun with bubbles but the photos didn't come out great haha)

As you have probably noticed, I've dyed my hair AGAIN. I tried the whole blonde thing but who was I kidding? Defo prefer the dark side haha. What am I like hey? Anyhoo, on to the outfit. I brought all these pieces pretty recently as I loved them all too much not to buy. My favourite of all, from Primark, is by far the kimono. I had to buy it in a medium because they didn't have any other sizes, but I just couldn't let it go. I think it looks okay though, just a bit oversized! The shorts are also Primark; they are soooo comfy and I think they look more like something you would buy from Topshop. I love the high waist and rips. The accessories (bag, necklace and headband) again were all Primark. I love the pastel tones in them all and think they are all perfect for summer. The top was from River Island and the Jellies are JuJu.

I hope you like my bargain outfit, please let me know what you think and what bargains you've got yourselves. Please don't forget to follow :)

Lots of Love,

Feelin' Tropical.

Monday, 19 May 2014
Hello everyone! So how lush has the weather been the last few days? I've been loving it! Tonight I will be having my 3rd BBQ in a row (exciting). Hope all you lovely people have had a lovely weekend in the sun. So today I decided a blogpost was definitely needed so I put on a summery outfit and a pair of shades and I was ready to blog!

Earrings: River Island
Sunglasses: River Island

I LOVE this skirt. Its one of them things when you see it and just buy it without thinking about the practicalities (cost, whether I need it). I love the pattern and the bright colours and think it's so different because of the plain cream back. Also, the stitching on this skirt is amazing, so intricate! This will definitely feature a lot this summer.

I teamed this skirt with a simple but classy black off-the-shoulder top and black heels. I also added a coral lipstick and my new square hoops! I don't often wear earrings but thought these were really edgy and as I like to wear my hair in a messy ponytail, these make me look a little less 'ive just been dragged through a bush' haha.

Also, I brought these cat-eye sunglasses the other day and so far, am loving them! Something I didn't intend to buy, but thought were pretty! I would usually describe myself as a round frame gal but I think I am now converted!

What do you think about this look? And what sort of sunnies are your favourite? Let me know! Lots of love..

Pastel princess.

Thursday, 24 April 2014
Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've left it so long since I last blogged; I've been a busy bee! So, I mentioned in my last post that I had a quick trip to Westfield the other week.. well I kinda went back! Me and my boyfriend were celebrating 5 years together last week and we decided to go shopping and then stay at a hotel near the shopping centre. This excited me very much!

I have definitely become pastel obsessed lately and brought quite a few pastel beauties in Westfield. I  thought I'd show you how I styled them. So before going, I decided I specifically wanted a light blue cami and when I saw this pretty one I snapped it up. I like how the straps cross over at the back and therefore make the top a semi-halterneck. I think camis are generally very versatile as can be worn with pretty much anything but think this colour will be especially versatile for summer- I'll be wearing it with white jeans, blue jeans, shorts and patterned trousers.

Moving on to the skirt! I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it in Zara! I'm also a little obsessed with white and therefore this skirt ticked all my boxes! I love the lace overlay and how classy it is. I feel it could be styled into a day-time look like shown above, but would look equally as stylish with an edgy, baggy black top and black Chelsea boots for a night out.

I decided to team these items with a pretty blue necklace that I picked up from newlook a few months ago and some simple nude heels for a perfect spring/summer outfit. Now all I need is a tan.. come on mr sunshine!

Do you love pastels? How would you style yours? Let me know!

Statement trousers.

Thursday, 10 April 2014
Hello everyone! So, I'm really liking statement trousers at the moment; trousers which are a bit 'out of the ordinary' and can be dressed up or down! A high-waist is normally something I look for in trousers as I feel this compliments my figure more than low-rise. So this week, I decided to go on a search for the perfect trousers..

I went to Westfield this week with my boyfriend and my friend; I decided this would definitely be the place to look for the perfect pair of trousers. We arrived late in the day and therefore I only had a few hours to shop. Lets just say I looked like a crazy lady with a shopping addiction (probably accurate haha)! I rushed around, visiting as many shops as possible and found myself in River Island. There, on a central rail were these beautiful blue trousers. I decided they definitely fitted the bill and snapped them up!

I LOVE the colour of these trousers and the bold floral pattern. They are just so summery and as it is shown in the pictures, they can be worn with a simply top for a pretty day-time look but also could easily be dressed up for a night out paired with a silky black cami and black courts. When it comes to jewellery that could be worn with these trousers, a soft pink necklace would go perfectly due to this shade appearing in the middle of the flowers on the trousers.

These trousers can be found here: River Island (£32.00)
The top is also from River Island and is a must-have for your ss14 wardrobe in my opinion.
