Hello white jeans.. welcome back! (And Mr. Nutcase review)

Monday, 9 June 2014
Hello lovelies, Just a quick blog post today of my ootd!
Firstly I need to give you all a reeeeeeally big apology, I haven't blogged in so long because of exams at uni :( They are over in a week though so I'll be back!

 Jeans: Topshop
Top: Topshop
Shoes-Birkenstock

Is anyone else really happy white jeans have made a come back? I am!! I love these jeans. They are so comfy and versatile! Here I have worn them with my new blue crop from topshop. This is another piece I am really loving. I have probably said it before, but baby blue is one of my favourite summer colours! When it comes to shoes and accessories I have kept it simple (as I tend to do). Im wearing my fav sandals.. Birkenstocks! And my tiffany and co. necklace.

I really want to be one of them people that accessorises an outfit and wears loads of quirky rings and has a collection of pretty necklaces.. but where do I start? haha.

Lots and lots of love, Jade x

ALSO, I must mention an item I was sent recently! Mr. Nutcase contacted me and asked me to design a phone case. I decided to go for a simple pattern as I easily get bored! I really would recommend this site as it is really simple and easy to use and you can put pretty much anything on your case. The quality is also really good :) Find them here: Custom phone cases. And here's a little code to get 10 % off too- discount code: “Thanku10”

Feelin' Tropical.

Monday, 19 May 2014
Hello everyone! So how lush has the weather been the last few days? I've been loving it! Tonight I will be having my 3rd BBQ in a row (exciting). Hope all you lovely people have had a lovely weekend in the sun. So today I decided a blogpost was definitely needed so I put on a summery outfit and a pair of shades and I was ready to blog!

Earrings: River Island
Sunglasses: River Island

I LOVE this skirt. Its one of them things when you see it and just buy it without thinking about the practicalities (cost, whether I need it). I love the pattern and the bright colours and think it's so different because of the plain cream back. Also, the stitching on this skirt is amazing, so intricate! This will definitely feature a lot this summer.

I teamed this skirt with a simple but classy black off-the-shoulder top and black heels. I also added a coral lipstick and my new square hoops! I don't often wear earrings but thought these were really edgy and as I like to wear my hair in a messy ponytail, these make me look a little less 'ive just been dragged through a bush' haha.

Also, I brought these cat-eye sunglasses the other day and so far, am loving them! Something I didn't intend to buy, but thought were pretty! I would usually describe myself as a round frame gal but I think I am now converted!

What do you think about this look? And what sort of sunnies are your favourite? Let me know! Lots of love..

Boho in the Rain.

Tuesday, 13 May 2014
Hello lovelies! So today it absolutely poured with rain and hail and it was just really rubbish weather.. Typical as I was so ready to blog! But this evening the sun popped its pretty little head from behind the clouds and I grabbed the opportunity and took some snaps.

Kimono- Boohoo (old).
Bralet- Asos (old)
Hat- Camden Market.

As you can probably see, the pictures haven't come out that great due to lighting. You would not believe how much of a struggle it was to get these done.. lets just say walking your dog whilst getting your boyfriend to take photos of you doesn't really work (I had to disregard many photos because ted, my dog, decided he wanted a photo shoot).

Anyway, today I gave my mom jeans an outing! These jeans have been on my wishlist for so long but I never could find a pair that fitted me well. These River Island one fitted the bill however and I was so pleased! I teamed these with my kimono from Boohoo. I actually purchased this last year to wear at V festival as I thought it completed a festival look. However they've really become popular this year which I'm really glad about.

I am also wearing my new favourite Asos chunky sandals! I love the chunky straps and the fact they are patent! So comfy as well.

I definitely think I will be purchasing some more kimonos as they really finish an outfit, effortlessly! How would you style your kimono? Send me some links to show me :)

Dreaming of Paris.

Saturday, 3 May 2014
Hello Everyone!
So today I went for a Paris-inspired outfit, featuring a few of my new buys! Paris is a place I have never been but know I would love! Is seems such a beautiful place and its only a quick hop over the sea! And just think of the shops.. :O!

Bag- Zara (sold out) but sold on ebay here
Shoes- Matalan (15.00)

As you may have noticed, I decided to try a different location for shooting these photos. I like the contrast it gives. But I'm not entirely sure it works. Hmmm.

Anyway, on to the items I'm wearing! Here I am wearing my new favourite skort! This Topshop number is so versatile and is my favourite colour for spring/summer. It is a lovely fit as well and really good quality. Its also not too see-through which is a bonus! I just think it's a necessity as it could be a statement piece for a night out but easily could be dressed down also. I'd definitely advise anyone to buy a skort like this ;)

The top I picked up in Zara a couple of weeks a go as I thought it was a nice casual top and I'm loving stripes at the moment.

The accessories are some of my favourites at the moment too! I got THE bag! :) This Zara bag has been popping up everywhere over the last month or so and has been really hard to get hold of. But when I was in Westfield a couple of weeks ago I saw it and snapped it right up! It's so summery and edgy at the same time. The shoes were a Bargain! I wanted some white sandals for a while but didn't want to pay loads as I'm very clumsy and know they wont stay white for long haha. But these were perfect and such a good price.

Hope you guys like my post, please give me some feedback and let me know what you think of this outfit! :)

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend!

Skort-ing my blogging out.

Wednesday, 30 April 2014
Hello guys! So again I have to apologise for my lack of blogging; I have had so much uni work lately, which is not fun! I did however manage to pop into town the other day and picked up a couple of skorts (do you call them a pair of skorts or a skort? tricky!).

This skort is one of my favourite pieces at the moment! I love the pretty pastel colours that are mixed with bold black lines and patterns. Also, the background colour is white, which is my favourite colour of clothing for spring/summer 2014. In these photos I decided to team the skort with a simple black bodysuit and black heels, just to show the beauty of the skort. However I will definitely be wearing this skort in the day-time when the weather warms up and I think it will look amazing with a thing pastel jumper or a simple white or blue cami (possibly the one shown in my previous post). I have also included a photo of my favourite Zara clutch (sorry about the terrible quality), which I think looks amazing with this skort; it really picks out the bright green pattern and I like the slight clash.

I'd love some more ideas of what to wear with this skort, please leave me a comment and tell me how you'd wear it!

Pastel princess.

Thursday, 24 April 2014
Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've left it so long since I last blogged; I've been a busy bee! So, I mentioned in my last post that I had a quick trip to Westfield the other week.. well I kinda went back! Me and my boyfriend were celebrating 5 years together last week and we decided to go shopping and then stay at a hotel near the shopping centre. This excited me very much!

I have definitely become pastel obsessed lately and brought quite a few pastel beauties in Westfield. I  thought I'd show you how I styled them. So before going, I decided I specifically wanted a light blue cami and when I saw this pretty one I snapped it up. I like how the straps cross over at the back and therefore make the top a semi-halterneck. I think camis are generally very versatile as can be worn with pretty much anything but think this colour will be especially versatile for summer- I'll be wearing it with white jeans, blue jeans, shorts and patterned trousers.

Moving on to the skirt! I fell in love with this skirt when I saw it in Zara! I'm also a little obsessed with white and therefore this skirt ticked all my boxes! I love the lace overlay and how classy it is. I feel it could be styled into a day-time look like shown above, but would look equally as stylish with an edgy, baggy black top and black Chelsea boots for a night out.

I decided to team these items with a pretty blue necklace that I picked up from newlook a few months ago and some simple nude heels for a perfect spring/summer outfit. Now all I need is a tan.. come on mr sunshine!

Do you love pastels? How would you style yours? Let me know!
