Snake it off.

Sunday, 14 December 2014

 Coat: Mango
Skirt: Missguided
Top: New look
Boots: River Island

Hello lovelies! Today's post is an outfit I recently wore on a night out. I think this outfit would be perfect for a day when you want to wear the same outfit from day to night as I think its casual enough with the ankle boots and leather jacket for day, yet the snakeskin print makes it snazzy enough for a night out or a meal with friends.

Now I don't know if you can tell from the photos, but it was absolutely freezing when I took these. So maybe a pair of tights may have been a good idea haha. Anyway, I would highly recommend this skirt as snakeskin is popping up everywhere at the moment and it is super cheap and cheerful! At £12.99 you can't grumble!

I'm also a little in love with the dress in the same print, I may have to order that too. You can find that here!

Let me know how you feel about snakeskin print! Have a lovely week!
Lots of Love,
Jade xx

Christmas Wish List.

Sunday, 7 December 2014
Hello you lovely lot! So as you are all aware, Christmas is very fast approaching!! I'm just soooo excited this year. Today I thought I'd share my wish list with you all to give you a few ideas!

1. Naked Palette. So what girl doesn't want a whole lot of nakedness? Now I must let you in to a little secret.. I know I'm getting one of these bad boys as I was with my mum when she brought it for me. I'm soooo excited to use it! They are all just so beautiful!

2. Zoeva Rose Gold Make-up Brush set. These brushes have such good reviews and they are so pretty. They are also so reasonably priced and good quality. I definitely am hoping santa brings these down the chimney to me!

3. Tom Ford Black Orchid. This is just the nicest smell I think I've ever smelt! It is rather pricey but it lasts for ages on your skin. I tend to have a good spritz when ever I'm in Debenhams and I can smell it all day!

4. Topshop Camel Coat. I have wanted a camel coat for ages now. I really wanted this coat a month or so ago but it was out of stock. But now it is back in stock and I feel it needs to be part of my wardrobe!

5. Nars Virtual Domination Cheek Palette. Oh my god how amazing is this palette? It has the famous 'laguna' bronzer in it, along with 4 beautiful blushes. I just love this.

So these are my favourite bits at the moment! I hope this has inspired you and I'm sorry if I've made you're Christmas list a little bit longer! Let me know what you want for Christmas! Leave me links to your wishlists.
Lots of Love, Jade xx

Roll up, roll up.

Jumper- Primark
Skirt- Primark
Boots- River Island (see previous post)
Watch- Michael Kors

Hello lovelies! Finally another outfit post up! I'm so sorry these posts aren't as regular as I'd like, its very difficult to get the photos taken with uni and it getting dark at 4pm; sorry guys, I will try harder!

So I'm slightly obsessed with roll-necks at the moment, and this fluffy grey one is my absolute fav! I saw a similar one to this on the Missguided website and fell in love, but being a poor student I decided I couldn't afford it. However I went into Primark a week or so ago and saw this beauty and at £13 (I think) I couldn't say no. It is literally sooooo warm and cosy and is definitely my go-to jumper now its getting chilly.

The leather skirt I've teamed this jumper with here is actually from Primark too. It was in the sale a few months ago for like £9 and it is so versatile; easy to throw on with a chunky knit for a casual look but also looks just as nice with a black crop for a night out.

Let me know what you think of this wintery post and what you think of the roll-neck trend!

Friday Favourites: Black Friday.

Friday, 28 November 2014

Sorry about the terrible quality of these photos! I just took a few snaps on my phone whist shopping today. So today was BLACK FRIDAY! How exciting! I hadn't started my Christmas shopping so I decided today was definitely the day to start!

OH MY GOD, there were bargains everyyyywhere! Me and my mum managed to get into town at about 11am and had a couple of hours so popped into as many shops as possible. River Island had 20% off everything between 11 and 3 so we headed there first! I could have spent soo much money but I managed to control myself and actually walked out with nothing for myself!

Debenhams was my favourite shop to visit today! There was 10% off all cosmetics and money off fragrances too! I headed straight to the Urban Decay stand to check out the Naked palettes. Now I must admit I am a Naked palette virgin.. I know I know, how is that possible? But today my mum took advantage off the 10% off and brought me the Naked1 palette for Christmas (yayy). I did take a good 10 minutes deciding which palette I liked best however, they are all so pretty!

I had to include a picture of our hotdogs haha. They were soo nice and were just what we needed on this chilly day.

So I thought I'd do this lifestyle kinda post today to give you a little insight into my day! Black Friday has definitely got me in the Christmas spirit! I just feel so festive.

How was your Black Friday? Let me know what bargains you found.
Lots of love, Jade xx

Cruella Deville Chic.

Tuesday, 18 November 2014

Trousers:  H&M (Similar Here)
Bag: Topshop (Similar Here)
Coat: River Island (Similar Here)
Boots: River Island

Hello lovelies! Finally I've managed to get an outfit post up! Im soooo sorry it's taken me so long! So I don't know if you've noticed but the temperature has dropped recently and it is rather cold out there now! So I thought it was about time I got the faux fur out! This beauty is a couple of years old and is still my favourite coat. I feel like a sassy Cruella Deville in it haha. Although this exact coat is out of stock, there is a beautiful coat which makes a great alternative on the Missguided website. The Link is above!

I teamed this coat with another fav of mine.. Khaki Joggers! These trousers are literally soo comfy (they are a scuba material) and are great for a casual look but equally I think they'd look killer with a pair of heels for a night out! I must also mention that this post is a mixture of all of my absolute favourite autumn/winter colours; I just love anything black, burgundy and khaki! This bag is my aw14 staple, it's constantly on my back!

What's your favourite autumn/winter colour? And have you busted the faux fur out yet? Let me know. Lots of love

Friday Favourite- All I want for christmas.

Where to buy: HERE

So today I thought I'd share some of my Christmas list with you all! Now, I'm not going to lie, I am Christmas OBSESSED! I just think its such a great time of year! I love putting the Christmas decorations up, I love the Christmas spirit, Christmas shopping, family time and everything else to do with this magical holiday! So you may not be surprised to hear that I have already started writing my Christmas list! I thought I'd do this post today to give you some ideas for your own lists!

Now the main things that I have fallen in love with and would LOVE to receive for Christmas is any of the Too Faced Christmas sets! I was reading Zoella's blog the other day and saw she had written a review on these products and I loved the look of them all! Here are some photos of the Christmas products. Aren't they just the cutest sets? I loooove the look of the item called 'la belle carousel' which is shown in the 3rd photo! I just think these sets would make perfect presents! And from all the blogposts and reviews I've read on these products, they seem to be really good quality too!

Let me know what you think! And leave me a comment saying what other beauty products you are loving! I can always add to my list haha!

Lots of Love,

This Week's Favourite! - NARS Sheer Glow

 Where to buy this: HERE

So.. I think I might be a bit late to the party on this one! I have been watching a lot of Tanya Burr's youtube videos lately, her makeup tutorials especially, and I noticed she kept mentioning this foundation. So I whapped it on my birthday list and was very happy to receive it from my sister!

Now, I'm not going to lie, at first I didn't like it. I thought it looked too much like I had foundation on (I know that's a strange thing to say) as I like the no-makeup makeup look haha. But after a couple of weeks of trying it out, I have changed my mind and actually love it now. It goes on so beautifully as long as you cleanse, tone and moisturise before hand (which I am sometimes too lazy to do).

As you can probably tell by the name, this foundation really makes your skin glow and leaves a dewy effect which I love! I've also realised you only need a small amount and as long as you don't over do it, it gives a lovely airbrushed finish without looking too heavy! I am soo glad I kept persevering with this foundation because it has fast become my go-to foundation.

Now I know you are probably thinking 'how much is this product?', and the answer is £31 which I know not everyone wants/can pay for a foundation. Therefore, I have found a foundation which I think gives a similar dewy effect and is also longwearing. I would recommend Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation

Let me know how you feel about both of these foundations and which other foundations you would recommend!
